Treatment
Dr Hunsaker spent four years in dental school earning a dental degree and then two years in the masters program for orthodontics where he earned an orthodontic certificate and Masters of Science degree.
This was the beginning of his standard of integrity and excellence in orthodontic care. Every patient's treatment planning is done with digital study models, digital radiographs, and digital photos.
Dr. Hunsaker does all his own x-ray tracings, measurements, and study model analysis. Hence, the same orthodontist in charge of diagnosing your proper orthodontic treatment plan, will be at each visit, and managing your treatment as well.
Dr. Hunsaker and our registered dental assistants perform all of your treatment. There is not a staff orthodontist. You won't even need to go to a different location for x-rays we take care of them right in our office with the most modern digital machines, which decrease x-ray exposure 40-70%. In addition, these images are available instantly for analysis and are transferable through electronic communication.

The Office
Our new office is designed with our patients in mind. We are conveniently located in South Chandler/Gilbert, where many other health care professional's offices are also located.
Our reception area includes a children's play area for youngsters that accompany their older brothers and sisters to their appointments. We also have a video game room, courtesy phone, and up-to-date magazines.
Our open treatment area is an enjoyable area where parents are welcome. Dr. Hunsaker is available at each visit to answer questions, and evaluate and discuss treatment progress.
We keep up with the highest sterilization standards, exceeding those of hospitals.

A Positive Experience
We have an incentive programs and contests each month. There is no substitute for enthusiasm during your treatment. Our contests reward good brushing and cooperation with prizes!
We provide all of the supplies you'll need to take care of your braces for your entire treatment time, as well as demonstrate how to use them. You won't need to search the drugstore for special tools or waxes.
We help with ideas for soft foods to eat in the beginning, and let you know all about the foods to avoid during treatment, so that your treatment stays on track and your braces come off on time!
Fees
For patients referred to us by their general dentist, or by a patient or family member of ours, we offer a complimentary consultation.
We include everything in our treatment fee: all visits, beginning and final records and x-rays, the treatment diagnosis and planning, all appliances for your treatment time, replacement brackets, high quality upper and lower retainers at the end of treatment, and a supervised retention program for adjustment of retainers. Also included are all of the special orthodontic supplies you'll need to take care of your braces: orthodontic toothbrushes, fluoride rinse, brushing timer and orthodontic floss.
Included as well are all of the special orthodontic supplies you'll need to make your braces comfortable: orthodontic wax, sports mouth guards.
When patients are not yet ready for orthodontic treatment, we include our observation program until the patient is at the proper dental stage to have treatment.
Billing
We have a large variety of flexible financial arrangements that are tailored to each family's needs and circumstances. We work with many insurance companies to obtain your benefits, and even do all of the filing of the claims paperwork for you.
Appointments
We know your time is valuable!
We reserve special appointment blocks just for you. Our commitment is to see you right at your appointment time- no waiting! We reserve mornings for all of the longer appointments, which leaves the afternoons available for the shorter appointments. This allows us to accommodate the highest number of patients after school as possible. Even so, part of coming to the orthodontist means missing some school or work. We can print legal work and school excuses each time you are here.
We have computerized scheduling, which provides printed confirmation tickets for all of your appointments.
